Honesty, Integrity and Transparency in Government
The Administrative Department includes the City Manager, City Secretary and the office staff and is charged with the administration of the policies of the City Council, enforcement of the ordinances and the orderly operation of the City. The City Secretary is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the financial records of the City and serves as City Tax Assessor/Collector and Records Management Office.
The Administrative Department is responsible for keeping the official minutes of Council meetings and is responsible for the safekeeping of City ordinances, resolutions and other official documents. In addition, the employees of this department oversees the daily operation of the collection of monies for the City.
This department is always charged with the responsibility of holding the annual elections for members of City Council.
The offices are located at Richwood City Hall, 1800 N. Brazosport Blvd., Richwood, Texas.
