Planning and Zoning Committee
The Planning and Zoning Committee meets as called at Richwood City Hall, 215 Halbert, Richwood, Texas. The notice of meeting is posted at City Hall 72 hours prior to the meeting and here on the City's website. All meetings are open to the public.
The Committee consists of five members who are appointed by City Council to serve a two year term. They review all subdivision plats and, when requested by City Council, the Committee reviews all planning and zoning ordinances, any zoning problems within the City and any other problems concerning the growth, expansion and land use within the City. They then make recommendations to City Council.
Currently they are working with City staff and the City Attorney reviewing the existing Zoning and Subdivision ordinances.
