Responsibilities include new taps, line repairs and clearing of obstructions. Other responsiblities of the Public Works Department include the monthly reading of over 1,100 service meters, mowing, repairing of city facilities, patching roads, maintaining city equipment to include water and wastewater pumps and valves.
